The Big Nine Oh!

Happy birthday to The Commander! And to our friend Diane too, even though she is not turning the big Nine-Oh. The Twinz of Terror took The Commander out for dinner last night and she is at her regular Sunday movie date this afternoon. I don’t like the term nonagenarian anywhere near as well as I liked octogenarian, so how are we gonna refer to The Commander now?

P.S. Some people say that The Commander looks like Mouse in this [fuzzy] old photoooo. Or is it the other way ’round?

    Wow–I do see her in Mouse. ? Is that the right direction? Happy Birthday to your moom! My husband’s 90th birthday would have been on the 16th.

    We think that this was a MacMullan trip and the driver is probably Roberta (the Comm’s older sister who is still alive and kicking at 95).

    And Margaret means that her mother-in-law would’ve been 90 on the 16th, not her husband. 😉 And…. Yikes! The 16th is the birthday of none other than, uh, yer favo-rite blahgger…

    Called the Commander on a land phone tonight and she was simultaneously talking to Mouse on her iphone. Just wished her a Happy Birthday. I love this photo! Mouse does favor her in this picture. Is that right?

    That was my IMMEDIATE thought when I saw this picture on FB earlier today (that she looks like Mouse). I almost mentioned it. The resemblance is uncanny!

    There has already been considerable internal family discussion regarding the amazing resemblance between The Commander and Mouse in this particular picture. Good lookin’ women!
