“Zoom” coffee with MMCB this morning. Both my coffee buddies have Ukrainian origins although they were born in the U.S. as were all but one parent (I think). That one parent escaped and embarked on a remarkable journey, alone at an early age. 10 maybe? Yeah, really. Another U.S. citizen I know was born in Kharkiv and still has family members there. Praying in my own godless way.
