Please do a movie of the beach sometime this weekend so we can see what the water level is like! I am jealous that you guys are up there and I am not.. ;-(
on this end – I plan to enjoy lovely weather this weekend, try not to obsess about upcoming layoffs at Borders (there will be many! probably next week if the rumor patrol is accurate) and not worry about finding the $2,000+ I need to fix various parts of my car.

I’m off to kayak a little beyond “Hell’s Gate” in the Kennebec River. Who knows what the current will be like? I’m smuggling some Pediatric Nursing study into my dry bags, because fitting 14 weeks into 7 weeks of class is a little overwhelming.
Can’t complain, it is supposed to be sunny and not so buggy. Betty left me with her bug shirt, just in case. Happy Holidays to all!
